We’re looking for an exceptionally talented mid-weight Drupal developer to join our team. You'll need a real passion for the web and open source technology as well as 3+ years of professional experience building commercial web applications and a hunger to learn new skills and technology.

You'll be someone who takes great pride in their work; Someone with the right attitude who will fit into our highly skilled team and have the same passion and drive that we have for every project we work on. You'll be expected to hit the ground running and start working on one of our creative and exciting clients straight away and deliver clean and documented code on time and fully tested.

You'll need to be able to talk confidently and accurately to clients as well as internally about project technology and direction as well as having a creative and flexible approach to client requirements. Whilst you'll be encouraged to expand and improve your skillset at Intellimus you'll already be proficient in the following:

Required:

• Drupal development (Writing custom modules and converting HTML prototypes into Drupal themes)
• Drupal coding standards
• PHP5 with experience in OOP methodologies
• MySQL database design and development
• Excellent knowledge of application security
• Working understanding of HTML and CSS
• Experience using third part APIs. Such as Twitter and Google maps etc.
• Basic search engine optimisiation

Strong points:

• Drupal 6 development, Expertise in Drupal setup, configuration & theming, Understanding of Drupal modules with custom module development experience
• An understanding of cloud computing
• Knowledge of PHP MVC frameworks such as CakePHP, FuelPHP and Zend Framework etc.
• AJAX JavaScript, XML and primarily jQuery
• W3C and WAI standards
• UNIX command line administration
• Capabilities in other programming languages such as C#, Python, Ruby etc
• Information architecture

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• 3+ years Php Development
• MySQL strong database background
• Understand Scalability- solving scalable problems
• Designing, architecting and implementing major systems from ideation to deployment and maintenance
• 3+ years schema design to handle performance issues
• Web 2.0/consumer facing site development experience preferred
• Familiarity with 3rd party APIs (Facebook platform, Google data APIs etc.)
• Familiarity with LAMP stack
• Android or IOS a plus! (understand how design works)
• Mentoring junior engineers by assisting with technical problems and facilitating communication with managers and PM's
• Passionate about writing clean, modular, scalable code the right way
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to root cause complex problems given limited resources
